Ordering a model is easy.  All you have to do is contact me and tell me what yout want.  My contact info is at the bottom of this page.  Once you contact me I will research your boat and respond within a few hours with a firm quote (or quotes) and information about when I would be able to start and finish your model. If you decide to go ahead, I will ask for a 50% deposit to confirm the model and lock in a building period.  That is all there is to it.

Here is the info on my current pricing.  Since I custom build all my models, I can provide any level of detail you want - just ask.

Standard half models include the hull, rudder and center board (if present).  The model is painted to match your boat.  Limited details (teak toe rails, etc.) are available for a small extra charge.

Models up to 25 inches in length - $400.00 + $20.00 shipping
Models up to approximately 36 inches in length - $500.00 + $30.00 shipping
I will provide a quote price for larger models

Prices include a hardwood mounting board finished as you specify.  Woods available are mahogany, cherry, birch, maple and oak.  Teak and other specialty woods are also available for an extra charge determined on an individual basis.

I am happy to provide engraved brass name plates with any text you want for an additional charge of $20.00

Shipping charges include packing and insurance for the purchase price.

I build fully detailed half models, full display models and radio controlled models.  These models are fully detailed to match your boat as closely as possible.  Typical details included are hand laid teak decks, rigged blocks for main sheets and boom vangs, lexan windows, props, shafts and struts, hand rails, and hull graphics including name and hail ports in the same fonts and colors as on the boat.  If a boat has clear windows, I will build the interior too.  I hand craft every detail on these models to scale from the same materials used on your boat (teak, mahogany, stainless steel, bronze, aluminum, lexan).  For example, hand rails are made from 316 stainless steel that is silver soldered together.  Teak decks are made from individually milled teak strips with black caulk between the strips.  The models are painted with marine paints.  If your boat has custom colors, I will custom tint the paints to match your colors.  Radio control models include all radio control electronics (servos, radio, batteries and battery charger) and are tested in the water.  The models come with a hardwood display stand and an engraved brass nameplate with whatever text you want.

Shipping charges above are for shipments within the continental United States.  For shipments to Alaska and Hawaii and international shipments I will work with you to determine the way to ship your model that meets your needs of delivery time and price.

I accept personal checks and money orders payable in US dollars to "Todd Dunn".  I can also accept credit card payments through the on-line PayPal system (send me an e-mail for more information).

To confirm a commission, I ask for a 50% deposit.  The balance of the price is due before I ship the model.

I have to charge 5% Maine sales tax for models delivered in Maine.
