I am now offering custom vinyl graphics for boat names and hail ports. I have been putting vinyl graphics on my models for years, but I always got the vinyl cut at a local sign shop. This winter (2007) I finally bought my own computer driven vinyl cutter, so I am now able to design and cut vinyl graphics in-house. My machine will cut vinyl letters up to 6.5" high. I have hundreds of fonts and can generate custom graphics for fonts I don't have.
This picture is the first model where I did the graphic art work and cut the vinyl myself. Although this graphic is small, it isn't a problem to scale it up. In fact, it is actually easier to make graphics bigger.
Graphics work prices are based on
the time I spend plus materials and shipping. Because I have very
low overhead, my rates are correspondingly low at $25.00 per hour.
A typical name and hail graphic takes me less than an hour and uses only
a couple of dollars worth of material (unless you want 22 ct gold vinyl,
which is considerably more expensive). Consequently, most boat names
will only cost about $35.00 including shipping to you. I will include
detailed installation instructions.
