This model is hand planked in teak and gloss varnished. The individual teak planks were 1/16" thick and milled to a width of 0.200 inches. The waterline is marked in gold leaf set in the varnish. The model is mounted on a 12"x36" mahogany board stained with teak stain and varnished with rubbed effect varnish.
