Jan 5, 10 - Earlier this week I finished scaling the lines for this model. Yesterday I cut out the backplane and laminated it with a layer of fiberglass cloth set in epoxy. Today I made up the station molds, glued them and the deck to the backplane, and put the waterline and shear planks on.

Jan 6, 10 - Today I finished
planking the model down to the waterline.

Jan 12, 10 - Over the last week I have finished planking the hull. I have also fiberglassed the transom, deck and keel. The next step is to glass the hull proper.

Jan 27, 10 - I have now finished glassing the hull and have started painting the model. After I finish painting the hull I will build the cockpit and cabin house.

Feb. 19, 10 - I have now finished roughing in the cabinhouse and cockpit. The next step if the fiberglass the cabin house and cockpit coaming.
March 1, 10 - I have now finished fiberglassing the house and cockpit coaming and have filled and faired the fiberglass in preparation for painting
April 13, 10 - Since my last update I have finished painting the model. I have also put the teak rub rail and cabinhouse eyebrow on the model. The apparent distortion of the boot stripe is actually a combination of the camera angle and distortion in my camera. I have also made up the cherry mounting board and started varnishing it.
April 28, 10 - The model is nearing completion. All of the teak is now on the model. I have also installed the sprit, tiller and nameboard. All that remains is to build the rig.
May 10, 10 - The model is
now finished except for the mooring cleats and anchor.
