Construction Details
July 4, 08 - I have had some camera problems recently, but they are now solved. I am now painting the model. The model is shown sitting on its mahogany mounting board. I have about 3 coats of varnish to go on the mounting board. After I took this picture, I put the second coat of topsides paint on the model.
July 10, 08 - The model itself is now finished. I still have to put the final coat of varnish on the model, which I will do this afternoon. I will let that varnish cure until Saturday, when I will mount the model.
July 12, 08 - I have now finished varnishing the mounting board and mounted the model. As soon as the engraved nameplate arrives, I will ship the model off.
