Nov. 25, 08 - Yesterday I
cut out the backplane for this model and laminated ith with fiberglass
set in epoxy. Today I put the station frames and deck and then planked
the model down to the waterline. I left the keel blank because I
am waiting for pictures of the keel before I build it.
Nov. 28, 08 - The canoe body of the hull is now fully planked.
Dec. 1, 08 - I got the keel information yesterday, so I built the keel today. Over the next few days I will fiberglass the model and begin filling, fairing and priming..
Dec. 9, 08 - I have now finished filling, fairing and priming the model. Yesterday I put the first coat of topsides paint on the model.
Dec. 18, 08 - I have now finished painting the bottom and have the model ready for the final coat of topsides paint.
